Local charity, The Children's Centre, are holding their annual team-building event, The Adventure Team Challenge (ATC) this weekend. The event, which is in its tenth year, is being sponsored by PDMS for the third consecutive year.
The Adventure Team Challenge is regarded as the Isle of Man's leading team development event, putting teams of 5 to the test strategically, mentally and physically in a series of adrenaline filled event 'stages'. Each challenge is designed to provide personal development experience, which benefits both the individual and their business.
The idea behind The Adventure Team Challenge is that each of the
thrilling challenges, as well as being great fun, are designed to
generate real business benefits that participants can take back to
the work place including - team work, communication skills,
strategic capability, flexibility, determination, the
ability to perform under pressure and to see things through to completion. Previous winners include Island property developer Dandara, investment firm Capital International, software developer PDMS, power supplier the MEA and last year's winners, chartered accountants and business advisers Baker Tilly.
PDMS' sponsorship of the event enables all proceeds from the Adventure Team Challenge to go directly to The Children's Centre's Mobex team which helps young people to discover new skills and helps with their personal development.
The Adventure Team Challenge has raised £110,000 raised over the past nine years.
